French and Francophone StudiesThe FIGS department celebrates its majors and minors during the spring semester Senior Celebration. The following awards are presented during this event:
Clifton C. Cherpack Prize in French
Awarded to a senior FIGS major with a concentration in French and Francophone Studies who, in the judgment of the faculty in the section, has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the field.
French and Francophone Studies Honors Thesis Award
Awarded to a senior student majoring in French and Francophone Studies who, in the judgment of the faculty in the section, has written the best thesis in French.
French Forum Undergraduate Essay Award
Awarded to a student who, in the judgment of the faculty in the section, has written the best essay in a French and Francophone Studies course.
