Dr. Harmon has taught all levels of the French language sequence, phonetics, conversation and skills courses, as well as survey, genre, and topic courses in literature from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. Her research interests lie in the 16th century and center on Agrippa d’Aubigné, Jean de Léry, and questions of witnessing and communitarian identity construction.
